SPELLING TESTS: We will not have a spelling test this week.

INTENT TO RETURN: Intent to return forms were due last week. Please turn in your forms if you haven’t already.

BOOK DRIVE:

The 6th grade class will be collecting books for Book Ends (bookends.org). BookEnds student volunteers organize book drives in their schools to recycle their quality children’s books into the hands of kids in schools and youth organizations in desperate need of books. Their goal is to collect 1,000 books.

TUESDAY (4/3):

Parent Meeting: Parent meeting at 8:15am in O’Ryan Hall.

WEDNESDAY (4/4):

Mass: We will go to mass at 10:15am. Girls must wear their jumpers.

THURSDAY (4/5):

Easter Egg Decorating: We will be decorating eggs with our buddy class. Each student will need to bring in their own white, hard-boiled egg (2-4). If possible, please bring in things to decorate the eggs with.

Easter Egg Hunt: Sheila (Elle’s mom) and Rhea (Mikey’s mom) have organized a fun egg hunt for the kids. At the end of the day (12:00pm) the students will have an Easter egg hunt in the yard. Parents are welcome to join us. The students will be decorating bags in the classroom while the parents hide the eggs.

Early Dismissal: Students are dismissed at 12:30 to begin their Spring break.

Report Cards: Kindergarten will not be getting report cards this weekend. It is only for grades 1-8. Please remember I am available to meet with parents in the mornings (except Friday).

HOMEWORK:

MATH: Review or complete the math sheet your child is bringing home daily.

PHONICS: Complete phonics worksheets your child is bringing home.

READING: Please read with your child for 10 minutes or let your child read to you. Don’t forget to turn in your March reading calendars and mark your April reading calendars.
