SPELLING TESTS: The students will begin taking spelling tests this week. They will be tested on the high frequency words we have learned. The tests will not be graded. We will take a pretest on Monday to see how well the students know the words and see what words they need more practice on. They will have all week to practice the spelling words. They will retake the test on Friday. This week’s words are: for, here, like, look, my, me, one, see, this, you.

HOMEWORK: As we near the end of Kindergarten, please make sure the students are completing their homework correctly and neatly. The students should complete their homework in pencil, on their own and as nicely as possible.

INTENT TO RETURN: An intent to return form was sent home on Friday. Please have them turned in by March 30th.

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART: In preparation for our Jump Rope for Heart event (Thursday, March 29), the students brought home a sponsorship form on Friday. Once completed, they can send it to school.

Spring pictures: Students can take their spring pictures on Tuesday. They can wear a nice outfit for the day. If you do not want your child taking pictures, they will need to come to school in their uniforms. Please turn in the spring picture forms so we know how you would like them to pose for the picture. Payments are made after the photos are taken and you have had a chance to see the pictures.
