Tuesday: The student council has organized a Crusader Day for Tuesday, May 8th. It will be a day of games and fun. We will also have the In n Out truck come for lunch. Please make sure you have your lunch orders placed by Monday, May 7th. Students will wear their spirit uniform.

Spelling Test: I will begin giving the students a spelling test every Friday.  The test will consist of high frequency words they have learned.  They will not be graded on the test.  We will be taking the tests to reinforce the words and practice test taking skills they will need in First grade.  This week’s spelling test will consist of the words: up, want, are, good, down, out, they, we, who, she 

Registration: All parents were assigned a time to come in on Saturday to complete registration for the 2011-2012 school year.  Please call the office if you need to reschedule.

May festival: The Kindergarten class will need parents to sign up to work in the booth. The festival is on May 22 from 11-4.

Homework

MATH: Review or complete the math sheet your child is bringing home daily.

PHONICS: Complete phonics worksheets your child is bringing home.

READING: Please read with your child for10 minutes or let your child read to you.
