Dismissal: Dismissal at the end of the day will be through the alley and no longer at the front of the school.  The construction in the alley is complete.

Social Studies Fair: We will be having a school Social Studies Fair this Thursday, March 24th.  Displays will be in O’Ryan hall and parents are welcome to see them after school on Thursday and in the morning on Friday.  The Kindergarten class did a landform project.  It will be on the bulletin board outside our classroom.

baby wipes: We are running low on baby wipes.  Donations woule be greatly appreciated.  Parents can also turn in their receipts for volunteer hours ($10 = 1 hour or service).

Holy Childhood Association cards: I will be sending home a small blue card from the Holy Childhood Association. This card is a way to practice almsgiving during the season of Lent. The students can collect quarters at home and once the card is complete with quarters, they can bring it in to school. More information can be found on their website: www.hcakids.org

Japan: Our school is collecting donations for Japan by voting on songs to be played at the end of the school day. There are buckets in the hall in front of the first grade classroom.

Field Trip: We will be going on a field trip to the LA Zoo on March 31st with first and second grade. Permission slips will be sent home soon.

MATH: Review or complete the math sheet your child is bringing home daily.

PHONICS: Complete phonics worksheets your child is bringing home.

READING: Complete the March reading calendar. Please read with your child for 10 minutes or let your child read to you.
