Bake sale: The Kindergarten/7th grade bake sale was a success! Thank you to all the parents who donated baked goods and their time selling the goods.

Religion: We will be learning about baptism during Religion this week. I would like the students to bring in a picture of their baptism if possible. The pictures can also be emailed to me and I will share the picture through the SMART board.

100th day: Thursday is our 100th day of school!! We have many fun activities planned for the students. We will begin after recess at 10:10 until lunch time at 12:00. We will need parents to volunteer that day. Each Kindergarten student will need to bring in one box of fruit loops.

Hershey kisses: One of the activities I would like the students to play will require 100 hershey kisses. I would like to place the candy pieces throughout the classroom and have the students find them throughout the day. Please let me know if you can buy the candy and label each one (with numbers 1-100). I can provide the labels. Money and time spent on this will go towards volunteer hours.

Valentine Grams:  The student council will be selling candy grams this week.  Each gram will be $0.25.  The students can buy them for anyone in the school.  (helpful idea: Send the money with a list of who your child would like to send the grams to.)

Valentine bags: I would like to decorate a bag the students can use on Monday to collect all their Valentine treats. Please have your child bring in a small or medium shopping bag by Monday.

Valentine’s Day: Valentine’s day is next Monday. Students are welcome to bring in treats for their classmates. If you do decide to bring in treats, please be sure to bring one for each student. We have a total of 12 students in the class.
Book worm: When the students turn in their monthly reading calendar, they will get a circle with their name and book they’ve read added to the bookworm in the school hallway. We have many circles on the worm with books Kindergarten students have read!
