Pizza lunch: The Kindergarten class is responsible for bringing in drinks for the pizza lunches this month. Please bring in 2 boxes of juice. Thank you!

Field Trip: The permission slips for the field trip to the library/firehouse is due this week. Please return this form. Please let me know if you will be able to attend the field trip and how many students you can take in your car (with booster seats). If you are unable to attend, please send your child to school with his/her booster seat.

Wednesday (4/21): April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Wednesday will be “Keep Kids Safe” day. We will discuss how to stay safe and protect themselves from harmful situations.

Thursday (4/22):

  • We will have an earthquake drill this day.
  • Students will be able to wear earth tone (green, brown) shirts or shirts with an earth day message on it for $1.

Friday (4/23):

  • The students will be decorating a flower pot for the auction that will be help during the anniversary celebration on 4/29. We will use our fingerprints to create bugs on the pot.
  • In n Out order forms are due. The orders are for the In N Out truck we will have for lunch during Good Shepherd’s 80th anniversary celebration. The forms are color coded by grade level. It is important to fill out the appropriate form for each child. If you would like to place an order for yourself (the parent) or for another family member who does not attend the school, please get a separate form from the office.
  • We will have mass on Friday. Students are to wear their complete uniform. There will be NO spirit dress.

Saturday (4/24): Saturday will be the Spring dance at the Good Shepherd Church at 6:30pm. The Kindergarten families are responsible for bringing in the appetizers. All fresh food must be delivered to the church hall from 4-5pm on the day of the event. All other items can be left at school the week of April 19th. There will be boxes for your items on the benches outside the school office. Make sure your name is on the item if you want service hours for your donations of $10 or more.  

Thursday (4/29): We will need volunteers on this day for the anniversary celebration. Each classroom will be hosting activities in the class. Each class will have the opportunity to spend approximately 20-25 minutes in each classroom. We will need volunteers in each classroom running the activities. Please let me know if you will be able to help.
