Hats for Haiti: Help us support the victims of the earthquake in Haiti by participating in “Hats for Haiti” on Friday, January 22nd. Students will pay $1.00 to wear a hat to school on that day. Please try to bring in the donations by Thursday.
Friday: I will not be at school on Friday because I will attending a math workshop at the Frostig Center in Pasadena. The substitute for the day will be Debbie Diss. She will also be the substitute before spring break when I leave for my honeymoon. This workshop is a 2 day workshop and I will also be gone on Friday, February 26th (same substitute). The workshop has been postponed to February so I will be at school on Friday.
Word group: The students did a great job on their test last Friday. Since this week is a short week this week, we will not learn a new word group this week. Next week we will learn about the word group –an.
Homework
Math: Complete and return daily math worksheets.
BRING! Please send from home items that begin with the letter “Gg” on Tues, Wed and Thur. In class we’ll look at the items, say the name of them, and listen to the beginning sound.

Friday: Bring the “Gg” book back to school on Thursday. Follow instructions from the previous Kinder News.
