Our 100th day celebration was very eventful. I have posted the pictures from our day. We all had a great time. I will post the pictures from our 100th day celebration part two.

Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see on the blog. Posting information on a blog is new for me and I would like to pass on information as efficiently as possible to all the parents. I welcome all suggestions. Thank you for continuing to check this blog.

Note from the Principa’ls Message from the school newsletter:

This week, we will have the visit of our WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) Accreditation Team. The Team will be with us for three days. They will be visiting classrooms, talking to our pastor, teachers, parents and students and writing a report based on the study we have done on the school. We have completed a book for the Team and the Accrediting Commission consisting of chapters on the Organization for Student Learning, Curriculum and Instruction, Support for Student Personal, Spiritual and Academic Growth, and Resource Management and Development. We have prioritized a list of our strengths and areas for growth and have developed an action plan for growth. Every school goes through this accreditation process every six years. We hope that many of you will come to support the school next Wednesday, Feb. 27th at 8:15 am for a chance to meet with the Accreditation Team. It is our plan to share with you the results of the visit in the next few weeks. In the meantime, look over the Schoolwide Learning Expectations with your child and make sure you all know what they include.

Since we do not have school on Friday, I will be sending home the Friday quiz. Please do this with your child.

In Social Studies, we will be learning about our homes and community. Please review with you child their home address.

We are still collecting new, white socks for Operation School Bell. Please drop off any donations into the box (decorated by our class) by the Kindergarten classroom.
