Catholic Schools Week was a success. All the students had so much fun. I will be posting the pictures this week.

We have another busy week this week. Today, we will be celebrating Groundhog Day, Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, and Thursday is our 90th day of school. I can’t believe we’ve already been in school for 90 days. It went by so fast. Our 100th day of school is coming up on February 22nd. I will be needing volunteers for that day. Please let me know if you are available.

This month’s service learning project is the sock drive. This month, Kindergarten and 1st grade will be in charge. Our school will be collecting new, clean white socks for Operation School Bell. Their focus is to help children remain in the classroom by supplying appropriate, comfortable, and well fitting school attire.

Last month’s service learning project was a success. As a school, we were able to collect 1,300 books! Thank you for your support.

Report cards will be mailed home this Friday. Please sign and return them as soon as possible. Remember that these are readiness grades which indicate if your child needs more time to develop in certain areas. If you have any questions, you are welcome to schedule an appointment for a conference.

Don’t forget to wear your spirit shirts this Friday.

This week we will not be learning a new word. We will be reviewing the groups we have already learned: -at, -an, -ad.
