Dear Parents,

The Christmas program is only a week away and the students are all doing a great job practicing “Joy to the World”.  I have attached each student’s role in the nativity scene.  Each student is responsible for their own costume.  Students can wear the costumes worn during the All Saints Day parade.  If you are having difficulty putting together a costume, please come see me.   The children will be dismissed to their parents after the program.  If parents are unable to attend, the children will be walked back to school for after school care.  The students should NOT bring their backpacks that day; only a snack.  We will be walking to the church as a class on Tuesday, December 18 (for practice) and Wednesday, December 19.

We will be collecting new toys for Toys for Tots until the end of next week.  There is a box outside our classroom for the toys.

The Kindergarten class will be having a surprise buddy day with the 5th grade tomorrow.  We will be making gingerbread houses together.

I hope everyone has been checking the blog regularly.  After the Christmas break, I will no longer be sending home the Kindernews.  However, I will be posting them on the blog.  https://kindergartengs.wordpress.com/

Reminder: ~No school on Friday.

Love, Ms. Kim
